Lake Michigan Water Levels

The water level of Lake Michigan is up 1 inch in the last month, but is now 3″ below the level of one year ago (we had above normal rainfall during spring of 2011). The lake remains 17″ below the century average. Lake Superior has gained 2″ in the past month and is at the same level as one year ago. Superior is 11″ below the century average. Lakes St. Clair, Erie and Ontario have seen no change in the last month. Erie is now 1 inch below the century average and Ontario is 4″ below the century average.
